CISM village made its debut at the Rome Olympics in 1960. The 1972 Munich Olympics and the 1988 Seoul Olympics also set up a similar CISM village. The following Olympic Games failed to build a village until more recently, Torino in 2006 organized a CISM House and Beijing 2008 hosted a CISM village.
Now for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver and Whistler, CISM Canada will host a CISM Club in Whistler and will continue with the CISM tradition...more
