Since its foundation in 1948, CISM has been working towards several objectives, like developing friendly relations between the armed forces of member countries, supporting less privileged countries in the name of friendship and solidarity, and contributing to the balanced and harmonious development of military personnel. All of these actions are based on one of CISM strategic goals: contribute to the world peace.
