IJF President Marius Vizer and CISM President Hamad Kalkaba Malboum signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Paris - Last 4 February, during the International Judo Federation Grand Slam in Paris, the CISM President, Colonel Hamad Kalkaba and the IJF President, Marius Vizer signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize the collaboration between our two organizations.

This four-year MOU aims to establish the development of genuine cooperation between our two international sport organizations whose goals include, among others, the promotion and development of Judo in the military at and to further encourage the development and participation of women's sport in the military.

The MOU underscores the mutual interests of both organizations, and as such the agreement calls for actions to be implemented that harmonize the development strategies of both the IJF and CISM. IJF decided to create one specific committee for Military Judo whose main tasks are, among others, to create opportunities for a common program for the formation of military coaches and to harmonize our competitions calendars.
