CISM TRAVEL PLAN RIO 2011

Following the decision taken during the Board of Directors Meeting carried out in November 2010 in Jordan, CISM is investing a huge effort to run the CISM Travel Plan Rio 2011 as a means of Solidarity Action to the 5th CISM Military World Games. In the CISM page it is possible to find the Travel Plan in French and English versions

This project aims at supporting good athletes and coaches from CISM member countries in order to give them the opportunity to participate in what is intended to be the greatest CISM event ever. Our aim is to have 110 countries in Rio. We can only succeed if the concerned Delegations will forward their request on time to CISM HQ respecting the deadlines established in the plan.

Please notice that the deadline for 1st agreement for the Travel Plan was 20 December 2010. Due to unidentified problems of communications we move this date to 1st March 2011. Be aware that the deadline for the Travel Plan Final Agreement remains 16th March 2011.

So far, CISM HQ succeeded to get information from 40 countries from the 88 nations which could benefit from the plan. Below it is presented the exact information per continent.
