From 22 to 24 March, the CISM  Board of Directors held its first meeting of 2011 in Algiers, under the patronage of his Excellency Me Abdelaziz Bouteflika, President of the Republic, supreme chief of the Armed forces and Minister of National Defense. The Armed Forces of the Popular and Democratic Republic of Algiers had put at the disposal of our Directors the ultra modern infrastructures of the National Army Circle, jewel of the hosting facilities of the beautiful Algerian capital city.
The Board of Directors refined the preparations of the soon-coming General Assembly and Congress foreseen in Seoul from 8 to 12 next May; they have above all analyzed the proposals of the Working Group for the revision of the CISM regulations whose final work will be presented at the very same General Assembly of Seoul. A large chapter was also dedicated to the financial matters of our organization as well as to the CISM International foundation which has been operating since last 26 January 2011.
