The Musketeer Trophy is offered to a military or civilian high-ranking personality, to a group of persons, to an institution that has distinguished itself by its exceptional commitment to the military sports world or to circles close to military sport and that has propagated the CISM ideals throughout the world: friendship, loyalty and solidarity. The handing-over of the Trophy occurs at the evening of the closing dinner during CISM General Assembly.
The 1st Musketeer Trophy was awarded in 1995 during the General Assembly to Chevalier Raoul Mollet, former Secretary General of CISM in between 1954 and 1986, former president of the Belgian Olympic Committee from 1965 to 1989 and one on the most influent international sports personality from the 20st Century.
