CISM DAY RUN 2008 - 60TH CISM ANNIVERSARY
The last two years, on the 18th of February 2006 and 2007, we had the privileges to organize an event whose main purpose is to gather for one day, under the sport's flag, the soldiers of the whole world, in the name of CISM Day Run.
More than 35 countries celebrated in the exceptional way this magnificent day dedicated to soldiers, sport and peace. Thousands of soldiers already run for peace and sport on this particular day.
It would be a magnificent success and a step of spreading out the peace message in the world if we could mobilize in the future 19,3 million soldiers to celebrate this CISM Day Run 2008. This special event would promote the practice of sport in the military and bring sport federations and international institutions in contact with armed forces and ministries.
